The Birmingham and Midlands branch of the CA is holding a Sixth Form Conference on Saturday 10 March 2012 at the University of Birmingham. Speakers include Oliver Taplin, Ingo Gildenhard and Ken Dowden, amongst many others, and talks will be given on the A level Latin set texts of Ovid Amores 3, Cicero In Verrem 2, Tacitus Annals 14 and Virgil’s Aeneid, and the Classical Civilisation topics of Greek Tragedy, Art and Architecture, and Greek Comedy, as well as some general interest talks. The Conference is open to any interested sixth formers and their teachers.
