Following on from the success of our inaugural GCSE and A Level Classical Civilisation conference last year, we will be holding this event again on Thursday 8th March 2018 in the Wills Memorial Building at the University of Bristol.
Topics for sessions will align closely to the new OCR specifications and therefore the event will be most directly relevant to students studying Classical Civilisation at GCSE or A Level. However, students studying Latin, Ancient Greek or Ancient History are very welcome to attend as well, as are those who are not yet studying any classical subjects but may wish to do so at university.
Thanks to better room availability, we can run separate sessions this year for GCSE and A Level students (as opposed to the joint sessions in 2017).
The event will run from 9.30am – 2.45pm and is free to attend. Drinks and snacks will be provided but students will need to bring a packed lunch.
