A–Level Classical Civilization CPD Inset Day, Cambridge University

A–Level Classical Civilization CPD Inset Day

The Classical Association & The Faculty of Classics, Cambridge

With generous financial support provided by the Classical Association, the Faculty of Classics at Cambridge will run an A-Level Classical Civilization INSET DAY on Saturday, 6 July.

The workshops are specifically designed to provide assistance in two areas of the new specifications: (i) Commentary on ancient sources (now prescribed for all components); (ii) Use of ‘secondary sources, scholars and academic works’ in support of argument.

There is a small booking fee (£5) to help cover expenses.

Travel bursaries are available for participants from the state sector: please indicate on the booking form if you wish to apply.

We are also able to arrange accommodation (included in the travel bursary for participants from the state sector or at a personal cost of £50) for Friday night for those who might struggle to make it to Cambridge on Saturday morning. Please indicate on the booking form if you wish to book a room.

For queries please contact Ingo Gildenhard () at the Faculty of Classics.
