CA CPD: Preparing for your first CA conference as a teacher

The CA is hosting a CPD event on 14 June, on ‘Preparing for your first CA conference as a teacher’.  This free online workshop is designed for school teachers and PGCE students who are interested in sharing their classroom practice and/or research with others at the Classical Association conference, and will cover a range of questions relating to writing an abstract and presenting a paper.

The presenters include Dr Arlene Holmes-Henderson, Andrew Christie, Peter Wright and Gemma Williams, all of whom have submitted abstracts and presented at CA conferences as schoolteachers.  They will share their top tips and will be happy to answer questions from the audience.

In addition, presentations will be given by Dr Ian Goh and Maria-Elpiniki Oikonomou, members of the organising committee for the 2022 CA conference at Swansea University.
