Call for Papers: FINAL REMINDER for the Classical Association Conference 2018, University of Leicester Friday 6-Monday 9 April 2018
**Deadline for submission of abstracts is 11.59pm BST on 31 August 2017**
We welcome proposals for individual papers (of 20 minutes, to be followed by a 10 minute discussion) and co-ordinated panels (comprising three, four, or exceptionally seven papers) for the Classical Association Conference 2018 in Leicester. We encourage submissions from school teachers, university lecturers, researchers, graduate students and others interested in the ancient world on the suggested conference themes, or on any other aspect of the classical world. Proposals are also invited for round tables, workshops, and posters.
Please send abstracts (of not more than 300 words) as an email attachment to firstname.lastname@example.org. Proposals for coordinated panels should include an abstract (of not more than 300 words) outlining the overall theme of the panel, as well as abstracts for the individual papers within that panel. Deadline for submission of abstracts is 11.59pm BST on 31 August 2017.
In addition to the main programme, plenary lectures will be given by Professor John Matthews and Dr Rowan Williams. Excursion options will include the Richard III Centre and Leicester Cathedral.
