On Friday 17^th November 2023 we will be hosting our annual Harrodian Sixth form Classics Conference at The Harrodian School. Professor Armand D’Angour of Jesus College, Oxford, will speak on Greek Tragedy; Professor Richard Jenkyns of Lady Margaret Hall, Oxford, will speak on Homer and Virgil; Dr Andrew Sillett of St Hilda’s College, Oxford, will speak on Cicero; Dr Anne Alwis of the University of Kent will speak on Love, Sexuality and Gender in Greece and Rome, and Ms Jessica Glueck and Krasimir Ivanov will discuss and demonstrate learning with Active Latin. This is for students to attend with their school. To cover the costs we are asking students to pay £25.00.
