This teacher Continuing Professional Development (CPD) training is suitable for primary and secondary teachers and trainee teachers will provide information about ancient Rome and ancient Greece, and will cover ways you can use the Museum’s digital assets in the classroom. You’ll consider how exploring a case study of a person or place can build subject knowledge and develop historical enquiry skills.

The event includes the following presentations:

  • Exploring Nero through archaeology and ancient sources, with Francesca Bologna (British Museum)
  • Using ancient Greek inscriptions to investigate the past, with Peter Liddell (University of Manchester)

A question and answer session with the speakers will follow.
