DESCRIPTION:If you are a teacher/student and from English/Drama/Classics subject background then you might be interested in the following opportunity. \nThe Faculty of Classics at Oxford University and the School of English at University of Leicester are offering a chance for teachers and students to participate in a classical drama day. \nThe day will consist of two events\, one will be on ‘Teaching Classical Drama’ aimed at teachers from UK schools\, speakers will include: \n\nJudith Affleck\, Head of Classics at King Edward VI School\nGesine Manuwald\, Professor of Latin at University of London College\nSarah Knight\, Senior Lecturer in Renaissance Europe\, University of Leicester\nHelen Slaney\, British Academy Post-Doctoral Fellow\, University of Oxford\n\nThe second event will be on ‘Learning Classical Drama’ aimed at Year 11 to Year 13 students from UK schools\, which will include the following: talks on ancient drama by academics\, a student’s experience\, and a guided tour of the Ashmolean Museum. \nBoth events will take place on Wednesday 18th of February 2015\, at the Faculty of Classics\, Ioannou Centre. \nFor programme details please visit our website: http://www.classics.ox.ac.uk/teachers.html \nPlease contact Sarah Knight (sk218@le.ac.uk) if you have any questions. \nThe day is FREE to attend\, but numbers are limited to 60 (teachers + students)\, and places will be allocated on a first-come\, first-served basis. \nTo register please email mai.musie@classics.ox.ac.uk by Friday 13th of February 2015 with the following information: \n\nName and surname\nSchool\nIf teacher (subject area and age group)\nIf student (age group; subject study)\nContact details
