DESCRIPTION:Goodenough College\, London WC1N \n6.30pm\, Wednesday 22 April 2015 \nThe British Museum’s major exhibition this year will be ‘Defining beauty: The body in ancient Greek art’\, cited by The Times journalist Rachel Campbell-Johnston as ‘the absolutely-must-see exhibition of the year’ (24 March 2015). \nWe are delighted that its curator Dr Ian Jenkins OBE FSA will give a Classics for All (CfA) lecture on 22 April\, 6.30pm hosted by Goodenough College\, London. Six of the Parthenon Marbles\, including Ilissos (which will be returning from the Hermitage Museum in St Petersburg)\, will be featured in the exhibition. ‘Ian Jenkins\, the curator\, enjoys a bit of a provocation.
