DESCRIPTION:11 June 2016 – 10:30am\n\n\n\nAn opportunity for teachers/PGCSEs with keynote academic talks and practical teaching workshops. more… \nThis day is open to all those who currently teach Classical Civilization or who might be interested in doing so\, including those whose subject specialism is not Classics. There will be opportunities to expand your understanding of the Ancient World through talks from leading Classics academics and to share ideas and best practice with other teachers working in this subject. Last year’s programme is posted below to give a sense of what is on offer. It will consist of a short introduction\, followed by three short presentations from participants\, with plenty of time for questions and discussion. \n16.00 – 16.30 Feedback session\, ideas for the future\, and planning for the GCSE Classical Civilization and Ancient History study day in September.
