DESCRIPTION:Encourage students to come to our Free Latin Taster Day to get a full day’s introduction to the Latin language and an insight into studying Classics at Cambridge. \nFree Taster Day in Latin and Classics\nThis Latin taster day gives students the opportunity to experience learning something new in a University environment. The day includes small-group Latin lessons\, a lecture on a Classical theme and a chance to talk with some of our current Classics students who came to Cambridge to learn Latin from scratch. \nThe day is open to anyone who is not studying Latin formally at school\, in year 10 and above. The day is FREE and a limited number of hardship bursaries are available to help with travel costs. \nWe currently place no limit on numbers.
