SUMMARY:Phaedra: a new play by Simon Stone after Euripides\, Seneca and Racine
DESCRIPTION:1st February – 8th April\n \nPhaedra\n \n\nIn a house of glass\, one must not throw stones.\n\n \n\nAfter years of fierce focus on her political career\, Phaedra turns her attention to her personal life.\n\n \n\nThe reappearance of her step-son shakes the foundations of her house and the beliefs that have underpinned her power.\n\n \n\nAs buried lust and loneliness surge to the surface\, Phaedra’s actions threaten to destroy everything she has built.\n\n \n\nWriter-Director Simon Stone (Yerma\, Young Vic) reimagines Seneca’s famous tragedy in this striking new play. Janet McTeer (Ozark) takes the title role\, with Assaad Bouab (Call My Agent) making his UK stage debut.\n\n \nFURTHER INFORMATION
