Discover the palace of Knossos\, and the search for the labyrinth\, in this major exhibition.\n\n \n\nThe palace of Knossos\, discovered and excavated over 100 years ago\, was the centre of a Bronze Age civilisation of people we now call the Minoans\, named after the legendary King Minos.\n\n \n\nThis will be the first UK exhibition to focus on Knossos and will include over 100 objects which have never left Crete and Greece before\, alongside discoveries from the Ashmolean’s Sir Arthur Evans Archive.\n\n \n\nFor further information and bookings\, see here.

SUMMARY:Classics Enrichment Days for Year 12 Students
DESCRIPTION:From Classics for All…\n \n\nI am excited to announce our FREE online (4th July) and in-person (5th July) Summer Enrichment days for your Year 12 students.  They do not have to be taking a Classical subject at A Level\, but do need to have an interest in the Ancient World.\n\n \n\n\n\n \n\nThe outline of the two days is below (for your own information)\, and the poster for you to print out and share with students is here:\n\n \n\nhttps://drive.google.com/file/d/1dc25D-ZYvSHn2H6syEU6Rqh6yQDdAqtf/view?usp=sharing (there is a QR code which they can scan to access all the information about the two days)\n\n \n\nTuesday 4th July: 500 places\n\n \n\nOnline day of thought-provoking talks from lecturers from different universities.\n\n \n\n​Wednesday 5th July: 30 places\n\n \n\nIn-person day with sessions run by the Classics Department at King’s College London\, starting with a session at the British Museum.\n\n \n\n​They do not have to attend both days.\n\n \n\n\n\n \n\n​Please note that booking for both days will close on 16th June 2023\, and a form will be sent round then to those who have signed up\, asking for their parent’s/guardian’s permission.\n\n \n\nAll details of both days\, including how to register for the days can be found at this link:\n\n \n\nhttps://www.cfasoutheast.org/blank-page-7 (this is the link that the QR code on the poster takes them to).\n\n \n\nAny questions about the days\, please contact Anna Bell\, anna@classicsforall.org.uk.
