DESCRIPTION:The 17th Dorothy Buchan Lecture at the University of Leicester will be given by Dr Josephine Quinn (Worcester College\, Oxford) on Thursday 3 May 2018 at 5.30 p.m. in Ken Edwards Building\, Lecture Theatre 1. The topic is ‘Carthaginian Dido: from Hellenistic queen to rival of Rome’. \nA short drinks reception will follow in the School of Archaeology & Ancient History.
