DESCRIPTION:Studying Ancient Egypt and Mesopotamia at University\nA Conference for Sixth-Formers\nThe Royal Asiatic Society and The British Museum\, London  \nSaturday 2nd March 2019 \nAn upcoming event aimed at 6th formers interested in studying the ancient world at university. The event will be held March 2\, 2019 and feature academics from several different universities presenting their research and talking about the Assyriology/Egyptology/and ancient Near Eastern archaeology at their respective institutions. There is also a careers panel and the students are encouraged to ask questions and interact with the speakers throughout the day. The event is capped off with tours of the galleries at the British Museum by university students\, postgrads\, and faculty. \nFurther Information (including on last year’s event)
