DESCRIPTION:1st Annual CAS Summer School Monday 8th July – Sunday 14th July 2019 George Watson’s College\, Edinburgh The Classical Association of Scotland is proud to host its inaugural Summer School in Greek and Latin (https://cassummerschool.weebly.com/) this year in Edinburgh.\n\n \n\nThe Summer School will offer a range of classes in Ancient Greek and Latin from beginners to advanced level\, giving learners an exciting opportunity to explore language and engage with a range of ancient classical texts and resources. Beyond our core language teaching\, there will be a range of extra-curricular taster sessions\, some of which will focus on classroom pedagogy\, while others will cover a range of subjects including (but not limited to): introductions to text and culture\, Egyptology and Reception Studies. Our Summer School is open to all. We have a small number of bursaries that will be awarded following application to the school.
