DESCRIPTION:World of the Hero: A Workshop for Classical Civilisation A Level School Teachers\n\n \n\nTuesday\, June 18\, 2019\n10:30 am – 5:00 pm\nKing’s College London – Strand Campus\nAnatomy Lecture Theatre\n\n \n\nJoin us for the Department of Classics’ annual teacher’s workshop\, this year focussing on the epics for the ‘World of the Hero’ element of the Classical Civilisation A level.\n\n \n\nThis one-day event consists of three lectures from King’s academics\, each devoted to one of the epic poems included in the A level specification. A roundtable discussion at the end of the day will offer a chance for participants to workshop challenges and strategies in teaching this component successfully.
