DESCRIPTION:From Classics for All…\n\n \n\nSalve!\n\n \n\nThere’s less than two weeks until our last event of the year! Book now for a chance to see one of the world’s best known classicists\, in conversation with Classics for All’s chairman\, Jimmy Mulville.\n\n \nAn Evening with Mary Beard\nWednesday 30 November 2022 | 7:00-8:00pm\n(doors open at 6:30pm)\n \n\nJoin us in person at Linklaters or online via YouTube for a privileged insight into Mary’s lifelong love affair with classics. Expect wide-reaching conversation on Mary’s personal classics journey\, her experience of being a woman in classics\, key influences on her life and career\, and the contemporary relevance of classics now – and its future. An audience Q&A will follow\, giving you the opportunity to put your burning questions to Mary. \n\n \n\nThis is a hybrid event with opportunities to attend either in person or online.  Tickets to attend in person at Linklaters (1 Silk Street\, London\, EC2Y 8HQ) are £25 and include complementary drinks and canapés on the night. Doors open at 6:30pm and the event starts at 7:00pm.\n\n \n\nTickets to watch online via YouTube Live (and obtain a link to the recording) are £10 with a £7.50* concessionary rate.
