SUMMARY:FREE ONLINE CPD: Resources that can be used to teach the Ancient Middle East in History at KS3
DESCRIPTION:Wednesday\, 22nd October 2025\, 4–5pm\, Online via Zoom\n\n \n\nBringing the wider Ancient world to KS3. This session will offer advice and teaching strategies for bringing Ancient History into the KS3 curriculum\, through the Ancient Middle East. Far from rehashing ancient Greek medicine\, or risking stepping on the toes of KS2 Rome\, including the Assyrians and Achaemenids in KS3 can open a vibrant and engaging world for all students\, and give eye-opening comparisons to the modern day through more a representative history.\n\n \n\nThe session will give advice on content and themes\, and how these can be successfully woven into a wider curriculum of modern history.\n\n \n\nTo register for the CPD please complete this form by Monday 20th October 2025. Zoom details for the event will be sent out on Tuesday 21st October.
