JOB | Teacher of Classics, Cranbrook School

A mixed 11-18 state day and boarding selective school
(780 pupils: 1:3 boarding/day ratio, SBSA, BSA)
An Outstanding School (Ofsted 2015)

TEACHER OF CLASSICS (for Autumn Term 2018)

Cranbrook School is looking for a well-qualified and enthusiastic teacher for the Autumn Term 2018. They should ideally be able to teach Latin to GCSE, and Classical Civilisation to A Level would be an advantage.

Although it is a selective school, Cranbrook admits a wider ability range than many other grammar schools. A challenging curriculum is provided for the academic high flyers, while the value added scores that are achieved each year bear testimony to the success of the school’s wider provision.

As well as day students, we have a thriving boarding community which offers great opportunities for staff to become involved (accommodation may be available).

Appointments are subject to satisfactory references and an enhanced CRB check.
