Sophocles’s Electra in Greek at St Paul’s Girls’ School

Following the resounding success of last year’s Antigone, the classical students of St Paul’s Girls’ School are mounting a production of Sophocles’s Electra in Greek, for one night only. With apologies for the late notice, the directors have decided to open this performance to teachers and pupils at other schools.

The performance, which is abridged but fully staged, with surtitles, will take place at 6.00 pm on Wednesday 27th March in the Singing Hall. It will last for about 45 minutes. Refreshments will be available from 5.30 pm.

The address of the school is Brook Green, London, W6 7BS; main telephone 020 7603 2288. The nearest tube is Hammersmith.

There is no charge and tickets will not be issued. However, places are limited and it is essential to book seats in advance. If you or any pupils from your school would like to attend, please email with expected numbers as soon as possible, and certainly by Monday 25th March.
