Electra: A Production at St Mary’s College, Crosby

News of a forthcoming production…

We are setting the play in the slums of New Orleans with a live Jazz band accompanying the Choral Odes and we have been strongly influenced by the horror genre in our approach.

The play will be performed at St Mary’s College in Crosby on the 20^th November and in the Stanley Theatre at the University of Liverpool on the 23^rd November. Please email electra@stmarys.lpool.sch.uk for details.

I am very confident that bringing students to this play would have a positive effect in the classroom regarding the key themes and the situation on stage. We even have a severed head!
