Invitation to Talks – NLCS “Classics Symposium” Thurs 9th November

Teachers and students are invited to join us for two talks by guest speakers at our annual Classics Symposium event.

  • Professor Miriam Leonard, Professor of Greek Literature and its Reception at UCL, will be giving a talk entitled “‘Ancient Drama into Modern”

  • Mrs Julia Trocmé-Latter, numismatist, will speak about reading and interpreting ancient coins.

Details:

  • The talks are aimed at students studying any of Latin/Greek/Classical Civilisation in Yrs 10 and above
  • They will begin at 4.15pm and be over by c.6.30pm
  • Attendance is free.
