Public lecture at Leicester on Dido of Carthage

The 17th Dorothy Buchan Lecture at the University of Leicester will be given by Dr Josephine Quinn (Worcester College, Oxford) on Thursday 3 May 2018 at 5.30 p.m. in Ken Edwards Building, Lecture Theatre 1. The topic is ‘Carthaginian Dido: from Hellenistic queen to rival of Rome’.

A short drinks reception will follow in the School of Archaeology & Ancient History. All are welcome and there are no tickets, but if you plan to bring a group it would be helpful if you could let me know.
