Catullus and Lesbia: A Talk by Armand D’Angour
The GCA is delighted to announce that this year’s postponed November Talk will finally be taking place live and in person on the evening of Thursday, 23rd March Professor Armand D’Angour of Jesus College, University of Oxford, will be speaking on ‘Catullus and Lesbia’, offering the latest perspective on antiquity’s most (in)famous love affair. The talk will take place in the Lecture Theatre at St Catherine’s School, Bramley, GU5 0DF.
There will be refreshments from 6 PM, and the talk itself and the Q&A will run 6:30 – 7:30pm. The talk is particularly aimed at Sixth Formers, but all members and their students are welcome!
