You are warmly invited to join us on Saturday the 20th of June 2026 for the Hands Up Education annual Summer Conference at the Museum of London.
We’re delighted that Prof Richard Alson (Royal Holloway) will deliver the keynote talk on ‘Ethical Responsibilities in Teaching (and Researching) Ancient Slavery’, and Ashley Carter will be presenting on the new Eduqas GCSE prescribed texts.
The timetable is packed with practical and inspiring sessions, including sessions on classroom pedagogy, working with reading courses, preparing students for GCSE, and how to use our Suburani Latin course in the classroom, and there will be plenty of opportunity to catch up with colleagues over tea, coffee, and cake. Cost is £59 (£30 for PGCE/ITT students), and bursaries are available.
Find out more and book your place at hands-up-education.org/conf26.html.
