JACT Teaching Classics Day Saturday, October 5th, 2013

Are you studying a Classical Subject or Ancient History at University? Have you thought of teaching?
This day is designed to give current and former graduates and undergraduates an insight into what it is like to teach Classics or Ancient History in a school, and how they might enter the profession. There will be a range of speakers, all of whom are closely involved in Classics education in the UK. They will provide a range of perspectives, with experience of teaching in a wide range of different schools, assessing students’ work in public examinations and training teachers to enter the profession.
The course leaders for the PGCE Programmes at Cambridge and KCL will also be in attendance.
