2019 Latin Spelling Bee

News of this year’s Spelling Bee!

If you are interested in reviving the renowned story of Caecilius and igniting students’ spirit for Latin and Classics…

Then take part for the the 3rd Annual Latin Spelling bee where all schools come together in an event of full of surprises and prizes from eminent classics authors and organisations.

Each school is required to choose 5-7 students who will be taking part to the final on the 14th March at Harris Academy Chafford Hundred (RM16 6SA)

The structure of the competition will be based on content per Cambridge up to an including stage 8.

Listening tasks
Picture-based tasks
Translate English to Latin and vice versa
Constructing Latin sentences.
