The focus for this study day is Nero and the Julio Claudian dynasty and the social, economic and politic world of the Roman empire. The role of women in both the Ancient Roman and Greek worlds will be discussed and there will be opportunities to develop study skills through exploring Ancient Greek inscriptions and vases.
