Ancient Athens Days – Community Re-enactment show, workshop and evening talk, 4th July at EOCCC

We are delighted that on 3rd and 4th July the East Oxford Community Classics Centre will be holding a double-bill of Ancient Athens themed events and workshops, which will include shows by Re-enactment specialists Comitatus!

We are hosting the following community events on the afternoon and evening of 4th July:

3.30 – 4.30pm – Ancient Athenian Re-enactment show followed by outdoor workshop on Athenian weaponry

6 – 7pm – “A visit to the Ancient Theatre” – talk by David Raeburn of New College, Oxford, on how the theatre of ancient Athens differed from today’s theatre. Including drinks.
