ARLT Refresher Day
The INSET by Teachers for Teachers

Registration is still open for the next Refresher Day, and all details for the day are now available on the ARLT website (http://www.arlt.co.uk/refresher.html). This time they will be meeting at University College London (Gower Street; nearest Tube stations: Euston, Euston Square, Warren Street; room tbc), and, as always, the day will be full of opportunities to share good practice, learn from fellow teachers and stay in touch with the latest research. Every year they welcome practitioners from all backgrounds, including experienced teachers, student teachers and non-specialists: all those with an interest in teaching Classics will find something to make it a fantastic experience.

- Key Lectures: Dr Stephen Colvin, University College London, on ‘Ancient Greek (and Latin): grammar, diglossia, and the koiné’and Dr Rosa Andújar, University College London, on ‘Living the Drama: learning from the UCL Classical Play’
- 3 Option Sessions on a wide range of teaching topics, including Latin and Ancient Greek set texts, Classical Civilisation topics, teaching methodology, Philosophy for Children, subject marketing, among others. Please check our website for specific details.
