ARLT Summer School for Teachers of Latin

At the ARLT SumMer school

- Socialising with other classicists and teachers
This year’s Summer School will be held at St John’s College, Durham, between 26th and 31st July 2014. For a modest fee of £375 (residential price), you will have a week full of exciting option groups led by practising teachers on a huge variety of topics, lectures by academics from Durham, Oxford, Warwick and more, activities with fellow Classicists and the chance to visit Hadrian’s wall or Binchester.
The location offers modern and comfortable accommodation in newly opened facilities, which are only a free bus ride away from the city centre. Trains go direct to Durham from London, Birmingham, Nottingham, Reading, Edinburgh, Newcastle and Manchester.
Although you should be able to claim fees from your school INSET budget, there are generous bursaries available, for PGCE students, first time attendees or considered on application.
