Birmingham and Midlands Classical Society – The New Year Lecture
On Thursday 29 January 2015 the BMCA will be holding the annual New Year Lecture. This year Dr Elena Theodorakopoulos (Birmingham) will be speaking on ‘Virgil and Augustus’.
This lecture will be aimed at all pupils studying Classics from Year 10 upwards, and will be of especial interest to those studying Aeneid 4, The Age of Augustus, and Virgil and the World of the Hero.
The lecture will start at 5.30pm in the Arts Building at the University of Birmingham.
