Classics Texts Day 2013, University of Reading

The Classics department at the University of Reading is pleased to announce that we are now accepting bookings for our annual ‘Classics Texts Day’ event. This free event, on Wednesday 27th March, consists of a day of lectures delivered by academic staff and doctoral researchers, which look at the AS and A2 Latin and Greek set texts and Classical Civilisation topics.
Talks will include:
- Cicero In Verrem II
- Homer Iliad and Odyssey
- Ovid Amores
- Greek Tragedy
The event is intended for lower and upper sixth-form students and their teachers. There is no charge for this event but booking is essential, since numbers are limited.
