FESTIVAL EUROPEEN LATIN GREC: Mass Reading of the Odyssey!

“On 24 March 2017 at 10 a.m. Paris time take part in the largest mass reading of The Odyssey ever organized !

For its 11th year, the European Festival of Latin and Greek is launching an unprecedented challenge : a Europe-wide public reading of The Odyssey which will gather together, in France and abroad, hundreds of people to read Homer’s Odyssey at the same time.

Are you a teacher ? A student ? A bookseller ? A librarian ? A theatre-goer ? Or simply convinced of the necessity to nurture the Humanities ?
So organize a group of readers and choose a public space to enable people to hear a complete song from The Odyssey in the language of your choosing ; about 20 pages, an hour-long reading and … long live culture !”
