Harrodian Sixth Form Classics Conference Friday 18th November

On Friday 18th November the Harrodian school (Barnes, London, SW13 9QN) hosts its annual Classics conference for Sixth Form Classics Conference. It is an extremely interesting and inspiring day for the students on four varied topics delivered by the very best in the field.
Dr Nick Lowe of Royal Holloway will speak on Ancient Comedy; Professor Richard Jenkyns of Lady Margaret Hall Oxford will speak on Homer and Virgil; Dr Rosie Wyles of the University of Kent will speak on Greek Tragedy and Professor Stephen Harrison of Corpus Christi Oxford will speak on ‘Love and War at Rome’ (Ovid and Virgil).
