Latin A Level Conference: Clifton High School

15 March 2016
£10

On Tuesday 15th March 2016, the Classics Department at Clifton High School in Bristol will be hosting a Latin A Level Conference devoted to the current AS and A2 Latin set texts.

Four excellent speakers from a range of top Russell Group universities will be attending to speak on Cicero’s de Imperio, Ovid’s Metamorphoses III, Tacitus’ Annals IV and Catullus’ poetry. Students will have a unique opportunity to consolidate their knowledge of the set texts and to engage with some of the broader themes and issues raised within the literature.

The event will run from 10.00am-4.05pm. Generous refreshments will be provided for the two breaks in between lectures. However, lunch is not included and will need to be taken off-site.

There is a charge of £10 per student for the day to cover costs. Reservations will be accepted by email, but only payment will fully secure booking. For further information, and to reserve places, please contact Hannah Walsh at as soon as possible.
