Old Palace of John Whitgift School: Talk/Workshop on Roman Emperors by Dr Anna Clark from Christ Church College, Oxford

Old Palace School will be hosting a Classics talk on the subject of Roman Emperors on Tuesday, 1 of March. The speaker will be Dr Anna Clark from Christ Church College, Oxford. This talk/workshop will be focusing for the most part on the Julio-Claudian emperors and it will encourage students to think about how to approach some of the evidence that survives about them. The talk will be addressed to students in Years 9-13 and it will provide a valuable opportunity to learn about an aspect of the Roman world which is not currently covered in many of the examination specifications or school syllabuses.

You are cordially invited to light refreshments from 4.30 pm. The talk will begin at 5pm and finish by 6.30 pm.
