St Swithun’s Classics Inspiration Day 2015

We are pleased to announce that St Swithun’s School Winchester will once again hold a Classics Inspiration Day on Thursday 12 November 2015, from 10am until 3pm. The day is aimed primarily at students in years 10 and 11 and is free of charge.  A packed lunch will be provided.  This year the speakers and the titles of their talks are:

Stephen Harrison: Rome and Hollywood

Llewelyn Morgan: Aeneas’ off-the-shoulder number: clothes and philosophy in ancient Rome

Richard Foster: What we can learn from Greek vases
