News from the Latin Programme…
The Latin Programme Summer School is back for another year! Over four days we’ll be exploring our theme Little-Known Greece and Rome through language classes, storytelling, theatre, music, creative writing, art history and more! To get a feel for what our online Summer Schools have entailed in previous years, watch our ‘Week In Review’ from 2021 and ‘Fortnight in Review’ from 2020. Here’s all the information you’ll need to get started…
THE DATES 2nd-5th August
10-10.45: YouTube Live session
11-11.50: Zoom Class #1
12-12.50: Zoom Class #2
The week before the Summer School begins, we will send you the Zoom links you’ll need to access the classes. A register is taken at the beginning of every class. THE COST Thanks to the generosity of The Classical Association, the Summer School is FREE TO ALL. If you’d like to make a donation to the programme when booking your place, you can follow the instructions on the registration page or head here.
Our Summer School is for KS2 and KS3 pupils. We split our participants into age groups, and pitch our Zoom lessons accordingly. No prior knowledge of Latin or Classics is required! NEED A TABLET? We’re offering free tablet hire on a first-come-first-serve basis. If you need a free tablet for the week, email firstname.lastname@example.org to request one. After the maximum number of orders has been fulfilled, we’ll start a waiting list and will keep in touch with updates.
WE CAN’T WAIT!
