Salvete omnes!
The Latin Programme Summer School is back! Thanks to the generous support of the Classical Association, our Summer School will return this July for the fifth year.
The theme for this year’s Summer School will be terra firma (‘solid ground’). Participants will explore the natural world through craft and gardening sessions, engage with ancient myth through storytelling, and discover Roman London.
Dates: 29th July – 2nd August 2024
Time: 9am-3pm
Venue: Argyle Primary School, Tonbridge Street, London, WC1H 9EG
Open to Key Stages 2 and 3
THE FORMAT
After our pilot of the hybrid event last year, this year we are returning to full days in-person. However, we remain committed to providing an online offering for those who cannot join us in London. Virtual participants will be able to access recordings of some Summer School sessions as well as special live events, digital worksheets and resources.
THE COST
This year, to guarantee good levels of attendance and ensure a positive experience for all involved, we are asking for a £10 donation to secure a place on the Summer School (for in-person attendees only). All participants will then receive a goody bag of the same value at the end of the week. We remain committed to making the Summer School as accessible as possible: if this cost will prevent you registering for the Summer School, please email .
Numbers for in-person spaces are limited, so please sign up early to avoid disappointment.
We look forward to seeing you in July!
