Cancellations have freed up about 50 spaces on each of our matinee/Schools Day and evening performance on Friday 31st January 2025.

The department is also running lectures before the evening performance on the 31st, which carries a 50% discount for school groups. To make a school group booking for an evening performance (whether on 30th or 31st), please email groupbookings@warwick.ac.uk at the Warwick Arts Centre, cc’ing me (emily.clifford@warwick.ac.uk).


The Performance:

There will be three performances of Aeschylus’ Agamemnon in the Warwick Arts Centre, directed and produced by the Classics students at Warwick:

  • Thursday 30th January at 7.30pm
  • Friday 31st January at 3.30pm (Schools Day matinee – free)
  • Friday 31st January at 7pm

Each performance will be accompanied by talks and lectures from members of the Warwick Department of Classics and Ancient History.

Friday 31 January 2025

11.20–12: ALL—Dr Paul Grigsby, ‘The Historical Context of the Oresteia (Main Stage)
