Written by This is a FREE virtual event for KS2 students in school and at home which focuses on Hadrian’s Wall Wall and the Roman Primary History curriculum.
The Great North Museum is running this event once again, but this year over 4 mornings and on a couple afternoon. It keeps growing bigger and bigger!
You can pick from a menu of 18 workshops, taking place over the 4 days. Sessions are streamed live into your classroom. The sessions are delivered by organisations from across Hadrian’s Wall, or researchers or those working in related organisations. Building on last year’s feedback, all sessions will be interactive and involve the use of a worksheet.
They have sessions on Roman Math, clothing and costume, a gameshow, make your own adventure stories, language and word roots, Latin, Ancient Britains and much much more!
