I am delighted to share with you details of the latest event in the 2023-24 Outreach Programme of the Department of Classics at King’s College London: our free, in-person Ancient History Teachers’ Day. The Teacher’s Day this year aims particularly to enhance the subject knowledge of teachers of the GCSE & A level Ancient History specifications. All teachers of Classical subjects may benefit and are welcome to attend. Teachers are encouraged to request particular topics for discussion when they sign up for the event. The university will provide a complementary vegetarian lunch, during which attendees will have an opportunity to network and meet the graduating PGCE cohort.
