Hear the tale of Pyramus & Thisbe and their doomed love, the story of Baucis and Philemon – equally loving (and living much longer) – and the fate of the disbelieving Pentheus  … We start with Mother Earth’s appeal to Jupiter to stop the world burning up … read by Emma Kirkby.
