This taster day will involve presentations by the Head of Department, the Outreach Tutor Dr Mark Weeden, a sample lecture entitled “Where did the (Roman) Alphabet come from” by Professor Stephen Colvin, several presentations by current students, and plenty of opportunities for Q&A.
