Men, women and gender roles in Classical Athens

Dr. Rosanna Omitowoju from Kings College, Cambridge, will be giving a lecture entitled ‘I’ll make a man out of you: men, women and gender roles in Classical Athens’ at Francis Holland School NW1 from 4.30-5.30pm on 28th April.
The talk will be useful for pupils studying the City Life in Ancient Athens and/or Antigone for the OCR Classical Civilisation GCSE course. It may also provide an interesting background for pupils studying Classical Civilisation at AS level.
Light refreshments will be provided.
