Stephen Heyworth to speak on Ovid’s Metamorphoses

On Wednesday 21 January at 4.30 pm, Dr Stephen Heyworth will be speaking on:
‘The Metamorphoses as an Epic of Change’
Dr Heyworth is Bowra Fellow and Tutor in Classics at Wadham College, Oxford. He will be focusing his talk on Book 3 of Ovid’s Metamorphoses, the AS level verse set text this year.
The talk is hosted by the St Paul’s Girls’ School Classics Society. Tea and cake will be served from 4.00 in the Dining Hall and the talk will be held in the Old Library. The event will finish between 5.30 and 6.00. There is no charge.
