We are delighted to again be hosting our annual summer conference for Classics teachers at the Museum of London (London Wall), on Saturday the 22nd of June, from 10am – 4pm.
We’ve got a packed programme with practical and inspiring sessions for teachers of Classics at KS3 and KS4, including:
- A beginner’s introduction to Suburani
- Digital support for Suburani
- Suburani Book 3: a beautiful theme-based introduction to literature
- Using images in the Latin classroom
- Teaching ‘The City of Rome’: support and ideas for Eduqas Paper 3B
- Focus on: Suburani Chapters 11 to 16 – top teaching tips and ideas
- Teaching Roman imperialism through characters and culture
- What is Latin metre? An introduction for complete beginners
- Focus on: verbs – using the Suburani verb trainer to improve student confidence
As well as a thought-provoking plenary session by Dr Ersin Hussain (Swansea University) on Life in the Roman Countryside.
