Classics for All is hiring !

Classics for All is seeking a passionate and organised freelancer to fill two vacant posts, helping to expand access to classical subjects in state schools across both the North East of England and London. 

The role focuses on developing two existing regional networks – supporting schools to introduce and sustain Latin, Ancient Greek, Classical Civilisation, and Ancient History. 

Deadline: 3 July 2026 (rolling review – early applications encouraged) 
Location: North East England or London (must be within travelling distance) 
Contract: Freelance until 31 August 2027 
Commitment: between 90-112.5 days (term-time aligned) 
Rate: £150 per day 

You’ll play a key role in: 

• Recruiting new schools and supporting existing ones 
• Building partnerships with educators, universities, and local organisations 
• Delivering meaningful impact in underserved communities 

We particularly welcome applicants from underrepresented backgrounds in the Classics sector.
